Newly and very privately married Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni tied the knot with Sakshi Singh Rawat.He was not to tie up this year, but astrological consideration led to rescheduling.
According to his astrologer, Dhoni, who turns 29 on July 7, has entered one of the most auspicious years of his life and both the families thought this would be the best time to formalise the couple's relationship.
Dhoni didn't have time for a complex Hindu wedding beacause of the heavy international schedule in coming few months.
Besides this, Sakshi's family members were not comfortable with the media surrounding Dhoni's affairs with Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone and Asin.
Dhoni and Sakshi studied together and were seeing each other for around three years.The skipper managed to keep the relationship secret from the prying media.
No one can think of even having such privacy under any circumstances.Dhoni informed only to his close friend R.P.Singh and even Harbhajan got to know a day before the engagement.
Only a few close family members and friends were invited.
